Debt Settlement Company
We understand that most people shop around and speak to multiple Debt Settlement Companies. We encourage this!
We know you’ll find that Eagle One Debt Solutions’ negotiation fees are among the most reasonable in the industry. We are also among very few companies whose programs may have clients’ funds going toward savings beginning with the very first payment. We believe that this fact alone makes our program superior and we’re proud to take the lead in our industry by structuring our program in this way. Please read on for examples of how we strive to provide our customers with the best Debt Settlement programs.
- Eagle One’s negotiation fee is a percentage of the total debt enrolled in the program and varies based on the debt amount. That’s it. No monthly maintenance fees and no back-end fees. The purpose of the Debt Settlement program is to get you out of debt in the least amount of time and for the least amount of money. This can’t happen if you’re overburdened in fees.
- Rather than quote you the lowest possible monthly payment in order to be more appealing, we do the opposite. We know that in order for your program to achieve the best settlement results, you must make adequate payment toward your savings every month. So, we work with you to find that monthly payment figure that is both comfortable to you and at the same time as aggressive as possible. Setting you up on payments that are too low is not necessarily in your best interest. Creditors’ patience only goes so far before they themselves become aggressive. If you aren’t saving enough money every month, there won’t be enough money set aside to address the aggressive creditors and there won’t be enough funds to take advantage of the really good settlements that sometimes come out of nowhere. Timing is everything.
- Some Debt Settlement Companies base their monthly payment quotes on the estimate that they’ll achieve settlements at an average of 40%. Using 40% as the average is potentially an exaggeration. In fact, many authorities do not approve of the practice. The true average settlement is 50%. This means that in our program, we will have you placing more toward your savings every month than the companies who use the 40% average. We certainly do aim for and often achieve settlements below 50% but by using the 50% average this helps to put you in the best position to reach your goals. If we achieve settlements that are below 50%, great! Your program may then be shortened and you may save even more money than we conservatively estimated.
- Finally, we believe that one size does not fit all. When we put together your program we are looking to many different factors when deciding how to structure your monthly payments. For example, if we see that you have creditors that tend to be aggressive in their collection tactics, we may structure your payments to have funds going toward savings starting with your very first payment. Many Debt Settlement Companies have your first 3 to 6 payments going entirely toward fees. We may structure your program to allocate funds towards savings right away if we think that you will benefit. This means that we can achieve results for you much more quickly. This means that we can potentially take advantage of better and lower settlements. As importantly, in the event that a creditor becomes aggressive, there will be funds on hand to address that creditor and to attempt to settle the debt before the creditor escalates their collection activity.
We are a member of our industry's trade association known as TASC (The Association of Settlement Companies). Membership of TASC is reliant upon debt settlement companies being able to demonstrate that they comply with the standards set out in the TASC Bylaws.
